Explaining how to do it
with Technical Videos
In the case of difficult content requiring explanation, it is particularly important that the viewer can follow the video descriptions despite the complexity.
The complex information in the technical video should be prepared in such a way that the viewer can easily access it. This not only involves the choice of the correct technical terms, but also a skillful didactic preparation of the content. In this way, the topic can be made comprehensively tangible via image and sound.
A mixture of real and animated film is ideal for visual implementation. Real footage illustrates the visual properties of a wide variety of components and shows, for example, the correct handling during a repair.
As soon as it gets into detail, even the smallest components can be shown in CAD-based 3D animations. Depending on the topic, the focus can be set differently.
Self-explanatory or commented video instructions
Technical films can be self-explanatory. Then no speaker commentary, the so-called Voice Over, has to support the image level. However, if a large amount of information is involved, a voice over can help to condense the information. A competent and calm voice from the off as well as subtitles or text insertions then comment on the image level and the technical video becomes a real help for the viewer in technical questions!
