The film in brief
A countdown teaser for the online semi-final of the Audi Twin Cup 2025: light streaks, numbers and an Audi show car in Formula 1 design count down to the starting signal. Filmed at Audi in Munich and shown on the competition platform to participants worldwide.
Countdown to the semi-final
The Audi Twin Cup is the international competition for employees in Audi's dealer network. In 2025 the semi-final took place online – and needed a kick-off that would get teams in every country ready for the start.
We produced a short countdown film and a welcome film, shot with an Audi show car in Formula 1 design and light projections in the studio. The films ran directly on the competition platform before the teams started the semi-final with a single click.

Concept
The kick-off was meant to feel like the start of a race. So we made the countdown the dramatic structure: numbers, light and the show car lead straight to the starting signal for the semi-final.

Filming
We filmed at Audi in Munich. Instead of using a green screen, we projected red light streaks onto the wall, reflected in the show car's paintwork – the look was created directly in camera. Several cameras captured wide shots and details in a single pass.

Edit, graphics and versions
In the edit we added countdown graphics and colour grading. Alongside the teaser we produced a welcome film in German and English and short cut-downs in portrait and landscape format for the platform.
Result
Audi Twin Cup teams began the online semi-final with these films – directly on the competition platform, in German and English.
